A Creative Revolution in the Making

 

Public Artworks

 

“Water Dragon” by Jay Hungate in collaboration with resident artists of the Brush Art Gallery & Studios, youth, and community members;

 

“Practical/Wave” a series of public artworks by Robert Harmon Jr.;

 

Community Teamwork Incorporated’s “Artship Enterprise” designed and created by artists Nora Valdez and Persi Narvaez with assistance from YouthBuild staff and youth;

 

“Fish Car” by William Turville;

 

“Art Lanterns” by The Revolving Museum educational programs;

 

“Mill Girl Dresses” by local artists and youth from The Revolving Museum educational programs, UMass Lowell, and Middlesex Community College;

 

“Carnival Side-Show Banners” by locals artists, and youth from Revolving Museum educational programs;

 

“Revolutionary Wheel of Change: A Celebration of Lowell’s Past, Present, and Future” (located at Mack Plaza). Created by: Bob Pittman, Melissa Giles, Andrew Duncan, Jonathan Stevens, Jerry Beck, Tony Cruz, Rory Gallagher, Ekaterina M. Konovalova, Paul Marion, Gigi Thibodeau, The Revolving Museum’s “Teen Arts Group and 8 Weeks” educational programs, and the New England Quilt Museum;

 

Giant scroll, books, apples, and other artworks for the courtyard created by UMASS English Department students;
